About Me

Hello and welcome to my tiny corner of the Catholic blogosphere! My name is Kerri and I am a cradle Catholic, wife to Chris (affectionately referred to as "Hubby" in these parts), and mom to three awesome boys. We live in beautiful central Kentucky.

I am active in my parish currently serving on our Hands of Mary Vocations Committee. In addition, I am a member of Cursillo and a Novice Benedictine Oblate (hopefully to be a full Oblate by late 2015).

In addition to our three living children, my husband and I also have three children in Heaven: Casey (March 2008), Zachary (January 2009), and Brigit (May 2010). One of the main topics you will find here is pregnancy loss. I often share my own struggles, thoughts, and anniversaries here and I hope to offer support and encouragement for others who are seeking to understand pregnancy loss. You can find these posts by clicking on these three links: Miscarriage, Pregnancy Loss, and Stillbirth.

In addition to all of the above, I work full time at the University of Kentucky as a music catalog librarian, was a musician for over 20 years (don't play much any more), love taking my kids to the local library, am pro-life, can't cook, and have lived in six different states.

Besides pregnancy loss, my favorite topics to blog about include: faith, life, and family, pro-life issues, how awesome NFP is, all things Catholic, and anything else that enters my mind and I'm brave enough to share with the world. I also write regularly on Catholic Sistas (so come visit me there, too!).
