And without further ado ...

I would like to finally announce the arrival of our precious twins.  Sorry for the delay ... it's already been a crazy ride!!

Peter Xavier and Ethan Alexander arrived on Monday May 30, 2011 both at 10:31pm after a Cesarean section delivery.  (I have a picture to post, but apparently I caught blogger during a maintenance period.  Picture to come soon.)

Peter Xavier was 5 lbs. 11 oz. and Ethan Alexander was 5 lbs. 6 oz.  There is no doubt that they are identical!  They both had a nice head of dark hair and they resemble their father quite a bit.  Both were also very healthy and after a quick check of them in the nursery they came straight to my room.  No NICU time at all!!

All three of us came home on Thursday together.  They have been a joy so far!!  Some pictures and more on how things are going to come soon.  For now, I'm just trying to take things one step at a time.

Thank you to all who have been praying for us!!

  4. Congrats! So happy that you and the boys are fine. My sister's twin boys turned 33 on May 31..the years have gone by so quickly. Joe was 6 lbs 3 oz and is now a 6 ft. 4in. Federal agent and Nick was 5 lbs 8 oz and is 5 ft 10 & very successful in finances. Obviously, not identical, but handsome devils! We loved that they were born around Memorial Day...another excuse for a family party! May your boys be as wonderful as my nephews. God Bless
